Meet the people behind the film THOSE LONG HAIRED NIGHTS: Bradley Liew is a 27 year old Malaysian born Manila based filmmaker who works as a Director, Cinematographer and Producer in both Malaysia and the Philippines. In 2012, he was accepted into the Asian Film Academy of the Busan International Film Festival where he won the Lumos Award for Outstanding Performance from celebrated Chinese filmmaker Jia Zhangke. He is also an alumnus of the NAFF Fantastic Film School, Berlinale Talents and Locarno Filmmakers Academy. In 2016 his first feature film, a Malaysian-Philippine co-production entitled Singing in Graveyards, made it's world premiere at the Venice International Film Critics' Week. It was the recipient of the Visions Sud Est Production Support Fund and the inaugural Southeast Asian Film Lab's Most Promising Project Award. Bianca Balbuena is the CEO of Epicmedia Productions and a Filipino producer who has attended numerous international film workshops, labs, markets and film festivals. She is known for Lav Diaz's A Lullaby to the Sorrowful Mystery (2016) which won the Silver Bear at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival; Liew's Singing In Graveyards (2016) which premiered at the Venice International Film Critics Week and won in the Kolkata International Film Festival; McKeith's Beast (2015) which premiered in Toronto, Warsaw, Sydney and Singapore; Jadaone's That Thing Called Tadhana (2014) which is the highest grossing independent film in Philippines in terms of profit-investment ratio and Diokno's Clash (2009) which won Best Film (Orrizonti) and Lion of the Future at the Venice Film Festival.
