I know this sounds wired as hell if jevil gets cut would he bleed syrup?

( Naw, Jevil’s got blood, just like other darkeners! Though, with the number of sweets he eats, I wouldn’t be surprised if his glucose was abnormally high. ohohoho )

Oo hope this doesn’t come across as know-it-all, but since fighting is happening, Toby mentioned that seam uses a, get this, seam ripper to fight!

( Hey there! I do recall Toby saying something about this in the official Undertale cross stitch book, if I’m correct? Please let me know if you’re referring to something else with more detail so I can learn some more lore and take a look myself.

Either way, as the story has already been planned for longer than the cross stitch book has existed, I will not be using that tiny bit of trivia as a part of this chapter. Also, we don’t know if Seam specifically used the seam ripper as the weapon of choice for the Jevil battle. As I recall, the cross stitch book only says ‘Seam has used it previously in battle’ or something like that. Because of this vague wording and my chapter’s plan, I’ve decided to keep my current plan in place.

This comic will have the Spooky Sword as Seam’s weapon of choice, which was chosen for a variety of reasons that will be shown within the comic! )

( ON THE OTHER END OF THINGS, WE HAVE PEOPLE BEING VERY SAD ABOUT SEAM!  I love how half my followers are literally like ‘i am sad for seam’ and the others are like ‘tHERE HE IS ITS B AST AR D’.  It is immensely amusing. )

( GOSH, Drawing Lancer crying was a hard thing to do.  Poor kiddo is in for the shock of his life. )

The panels of the Rudinn Gaster getting closer and closer were more symbolic to show the Knight’s power over the King!  He was getting progressively closer through the chapter, but however, for that specific update, it was more of a ‘zoom in on these two characters to show that their connected in some way’ kind of thing.

OH MAN oh man, I’m very glad to hear that!  Actually, I had some panels that didn’t make the cut, so here’s one in particular for you!  Maximum, peak, small lancer!

Definitely give him a hug!  It’s hard for me to say whether he really heard what was being said with his ears covered, but he definitely knows some bad stuff has been going on with Jevil and that’s certainly taxing on him too.  After all, Jevil has been the light within the Kingdom during these tough times.  And now Jevil is gone.  I do think that Lancer is around 4-5 in this comic!  So he can understand bad things are happening, but he is very much dependent on his father for reassurance still.  

Which makes it more painful when his dad even seems to be having a really hard time as well.

GOD, THE FACT THAT ROUXLS HAS THE INSTAGRAM/SNAPCHAT GIRL AESTHETIC IS JUST PEAK CHARACTERIZATION.  PROPS FOR THAT

THEY DID!  HELP THEM... SAVE THEM.... THEY DONT DESERVE TO HAVE THIS BURDEN ON THEIR FUZZY CAT SHOULDERS.  On the flip side....

Jevil;  GONNA KILL ME WITH THAT BIG SWORD OF YOURS?  BETTER MAKE IT COUNT.  BETTER KILL ME WITH ONE SHOT.

Legit question: If Seam is considered a Joker in this world, would he be able to see the knight, too?

The king holding baby lancer all gently is my aesthetic. Like look at him!!! He’s holding his baby!! His itty bitty fragile son!!!

( GOD YOURE RIGHT!!! I love when the King acts all soft for his kiddo.  I have a weakness for big masculine guys who are just.... absolutely soft at their core.

I feel bad that it won’t last, but hey!  That’s not on me.  That’s on Mr Toby Fox himself. )

I've noticed that Seam is the only one fully shaded, cod this mean something important or is it just added detail?

( :) All I can really say is ‘the darker it is, the more you can see’. )

Gotta say that even if it's taking you longer, i really appreciate how you take the time to redraw your comic just so that we lucky viewers, can enjoy a better quality product. This is really admirable and i think i can speak for others about that.

( AWWW I’m so glad you say that!  I’m doing my best to get yall content as soon as possible for me, but I definitely also care about the quality of it!
