Alex Bailey is either asexual or a lesbian to the point that I wouldn't even call it a headcanon, it's more just good character analysis

Redemption Arcs in Tlos
Okay, but Chris Colfer actually nailed redemption arcs. It's not a "they didn't do anything wrong". They did, they have their trauma and reasons, and the only thing to help them improve is a second chance, most notably with the Evil Queen and Evil Stepmother. These redemptions are saved only for those genuinely feel terrible about their mistakes, and who work to improve going forward. Forgiveness was also covered really well in these two characters and relationships.
Snow White & Evly: Snow White chooses to forgive her stepmother. She learns more about Evly’s past, and makes the decision to forgive her. I think that this is something Snow White needed to do for closure, as in the prologue of book 1, these loose ends in her life are haunting her, and for her, freeing Evly and letting her finish her story is the way to move on.
Cinderella & Lady Iris: this one’s different, because it’s not about forgiving, it’s about second chances. By the end of book 2, Cinderella has very much moved on in her life, and grown past her relationship with her stepmother. Lady Iris, on the other hand, has not, and is unable to do in the Charming Kingdom, where her mistakes and behavior are public knowledge and judged by everyone around. So, when given the chance, she makes the decision to start over with her daughters in a new world, and Cinderella is happy that both of them are able to go their separate ways on better paths.
I don’t always like the way redemption arcs are done, because a lot of the time it’s a quick “forgive and forget”, but I think this series is filled with a lot of really rich arcs, and these are just two examples of how I would love to see more villains redeemed.
character ask game thing, alex bailey
Favourite thing about them - There's so many things, but the reason I love her so much is because she is literally just a character version of me. And her name. That may or may not have been the real reason I read the books. I’m totally not biased lol
Least favourite thing about them - Her lack of empathy for herself. Like, from an analytical POV, it's great, but from a reader POV, there have been more than one scenes I've bawled my eyes out to.
Favourite line - *screams because there's so many* It's not my favourite line, but I really love the use of "My most educated analysis, with all means of science and technology in mind, is that it's magic..."
brOTP - My favourite part of the books has always been the relationship between Alex and Conner. But I also love the dynamics she has with their friends
OTP - I don't see Alex ending up with anyone in canon (it's a long explanation, maybe another post lol) but @constant-brainrot can tell you I've spent the past month fangirling over Breelex
nOTP - Her and Rook. I said it (again, long explanation, I have a lot of thoughts on Rook lol)
Random headcanon - Her hands drastically change temperature with her mood. If she's upset or tired, they are freezing. When she's happy, they're pleasantly warm, and when she's angry, they're burning hot
Unpopular opinion - Every opinion is unpopular in a fandom this size. So, I guess my biggest opinion about her, and I guess it's unpopular as I haven't really had anyone explicitly agree with me, but she is absolutely my favourite character in the series, and one of my top 3.
Song I associate with them - I could actually give you a paragraph for each how and how they work, but we don't have time for that. A real quick few: Zombie by Damned Anthem, Warrior by Beth Crowley, Lost Boy by Ruth B., Three and Daughter by Sleeping at Last, and Like Real People Do by Hozier
Favourite picture/gif of them - There's like 3 pictures of her total lol. You don't get to have favourites.
