I just told someone I didn't. see the point in including laudna in that tlovm episode. narratively. and it's interesting to me bc like. with a much minor character than a pc like yudala they introduced them in a way that made sense and set them up for people to recognize as an authority in the cobalt soul (super awesome as well but you know. narratively). it makes people familiar with them so when they show up in tm9a it'll make sense. it works for yudala as a character to be dealing with vm in the timeline. it doesn't take away from any of the characters involved but rather adds to the story with a good introduction. laudna's cameo doesn't do that. it actively makes things worse. in the campaign for all its flaws I think vox machina helping bring laudna back is one of the few things the bells didn't earn but still makes sense because of vex. because of how responsible she feels for laudna's fate. having a 30 seconds realization of Who laudna is and making it devoid of emotional impact on her and leaving it promptly forgotten and ending it with a *shrug* eh she'll be fine is insane. it takes away all the significance of them meeting and for no reason. laudna's introduction at this point doesn't add to anything. it sets her up worse than if they let the hypothetical bells hells animated series play out and got into her background later. like yeah I don't think it's. bad. in the scene itself but if you consider a wider context idk man. truly what the hell are you doing with this tlovm
