Do you remember my old profile picture? It was just a screenshot:

When I decided to change it, my first thought was “I’ll just remake it myself, how hard can it be?”

And then this happened (which I somehow never posted, until now):

BUT☝️ I also did this one: a drawing I made from scratch while following a random TikTok tutorial.

Is it disproportionate? Yes.

Are the arms weird? Also yes.

Do I care? Not really.

Because it felt so caricature-ish and so me that I just went: yeah, this is the one. (No thoughts. Just vibes.)

This is obviously just my own opinion, but I swear you can always tell when something is (more) authentic.

And most of the time, it’s the imperfection that makes it work.

Those of you who’ve been here since the very beginning (back in late 2023) probably noticed that this blog has changed a lot. At first, I only posted screenshots and reblogs. Then I randomly decided to start doing analysis, and I began with Mutant Mayhem because there was genuinely something about that movie that deeply unsettled me and no one was talking about it.

Little by little, I stopped sharing screenshots… or if I do now, it’s more in a meme format. There were also like two months where I completely disappeared and honestly thought I wasn’t coming back, but then the obsession bit me again 😆

And then last year, that first fic happened. After a lot of hesitation, I ended up sharing it.

So I became a fanfic writer 🤡 But I also kind of reconnected with drawing (more or less…).

I’ve also shared more personal stuff, made moots and play tag games, and I care less and less about anonymity now lol I guess what I’m trying to say is that it’s pretty obvious this blog will keep evolving. A lot of people who’ve followed me since the start might not be as interested in what I post now, or in what I’ll post in the future. And that’s fine— all of that is normal.

It’s still a tmnt blog (mostly rottmnt, sorry if you followed me for other iterations 🙃), and I think it’ll ALWAYS have that side to it. I joined tumblr to be part of the fandom, and believe it or not, tmnt is the only fandom I’m in <3

Anyway… a lot of blah blah just to say a lot and nothing at the same time (and also that I’m thinking about making some little changes to the blog, nothing too radical, at least not content-wise… but maybe with my profile picture 👀).

Hana is Japanese for ‘flower’ he considers you as beautiful and graceful as a flower is

Leo is the type of guy to love old fashioned or unique nicknames

Raphael

Simple, he doesn’t really give you a lot of nicknames because he’s not exactly big on them to begin with

Raphael is one of those guys who would get embarrassed and flustered if he called you something all mushy or if you called him something really mushy

I take it raph would make an exception and give you a more loving nickname in private, he’s trying cut him some slack

It’s sweet and simple plus it literally says what you are to him..his love

I first saw this on a Wattpad story if I’m fully honest and it’s cute as hell then I realized a lot of people associated donnie with this nickname plus Donnie’s dove always pops into my brain when I think of it which is funny to me

Doves are known to be loyal creatures when it comes to having a mate and very beautiful

Donnie is aware of this because of his research and decided that the name suits you

After all you’re loyal to him and you’re extremely beautiful

Dolls are known to be petite, beautiful items that kids would own

Donnie always thought you were like a doll and in the good aspects, not the negative ones

It’s more of he finds you beautiful as all dolls are to be depicted, always looking their best

Just as donnie thought of you, whether you’re trying or not, you are absolutely gorgeous

Michelangelo

Angel cake is basically describing itself, Mikey sees you as an absolute angel

You’re beautiful, lovely and wonderful towards him

As beautiful as an angel and as sweet as a cake

A simple and classic nickname he’ll address you with if he’s being lazy once again but even tho it’s classic and basic it has a special meaning because it’s directed towards you

• mamas

I have absolutely no explanation for this one if I’m honest with all of you I love this nickname and my best friend said it fits Mikey

But if you put thought into it, it’s like the idea of when there’s see an attractive person(or well..female) you would hear some people remark things such as “hot mama” “aye mami” “woah mama”

It’s been associated with someone extremely attractive and Mikey would hear it in tv shows and be like “I have a hot lover..” then alter the name in a way it fits you

Now he's more of a cooking and doing thing for you kinds guy
