I always love that after only knowing the Turtles for a few hours, Sal Commander instinctively activated father mode with Michelangelo, shielding his eyes when Raph and Mona Lisa were kissing.
Part 3
Finally got this done! Raph, Mona and the Kiddos! Enjoy! 🫰🏼😁

Thal and Sal to me!
Raphael's children have a fear of cockroaches.
Hello! For Thalos and Sal no they do not fear roaches or any other insects. Thalos actually takes an interest in creepy crawlies! Specifically arachnids, he has several terrariums with large tarantulas and scorpions hidden in his room.
questions of the other fan children you can ask the original creators. 😊

Can you make a drawing of Frida when's angry because I'm pretty curious to what happens when the sweet, bubbly Frida gets angry?
I can only assume she'll give a good reminder that she's not someone to mess with. 😌

Sal to me!
Nearly forgot to ask, but if Salamandrians don't know what LGTBQ means (based on your hc), then how does Sal come to learn about it and realizes he is ace?
Good question! You have Mikey to thank for that!
To summarize, Sal Commander came to Earth to visit Mona Lisa, and it just so happened to be Pride Month when he visited. He was confused and I guess you’d say he had some culture shock by the whole thing in the beginning, but then he got to talking with Mikey, who explained everything to him.
I headcanon that on Salamandria everyone is match made to have a mate/partner so offspring can be produced (goal is to make future soldiers for the military). Sal Commander had a mate but he never understood why he never had a physical desire for her. He enjoyed her company very much, but he never enjoyed physical intimacy with her and he thought there was something was wrong with him. He expressed this to Mikey to which he told Sal that he might be Ace. Sal didn’t know what that was, and Mikey explained it and then everything became clear to him.
Is it just me, or should have Sal and Leo had a more closer bond or like generally a mentor and studenr sort of relationship. I don't know, when I remember some of their scenes, it really felt like a genuine relationship would have sparked between them. And their personalities are almost the same. Also- they are blue lol
It's not just you my friend. I've always found the dynamic of Leo and Sal to be interesting and I wish it was explored more in the series. The two obviously respect one another and don't question each other's authority and work well together in combat. Both are leaders but from different generations. Sal is a war veteran who has been through countless battles for decades. Leo is still new to this leadership position. By season 4 (for my headcanons timeline) Leo has been leader for 3-4 years now. He's experienced enough, but still has a lot more to learn and he could've learned more from Sal.
Season 4 makes it clear Leo needs Splinter's guidance, as we see him use the holo training room to talk to a hologram of his father, asking it advice and seeking encouragement.
Which btw is NOT HEALTHY and I can't believe everyone just let it happen and we didn't have an episode where the gang confronted Leo about this. The only person who called it out was Raph but everyone excused it with "he just misses Splinter". This series severely overlooked Leo's mental health as a potential arc/story to dive deeper into.
Anyways, I think Sal Commander would've been a great mentor/advice giver for Leo in season 4. Help him get more points of view on different situations, explore more ideals and mindsets of other fighters beyond what he was raised to believe/know. Sal would have been perfect for this role as Leo's new mentor.
Kind of on topic, but I think an interesting character trait Leo should have been given is that he cares too much about what others think of him, specially authority figures he looks up to. So he would desperately try to impress and look serious/professional in front of people with power like Splinter, Usagi, Sal Commander, Utrom Queen and Queen Hiidrala.
I kind of included this concept a bit in my TMNT 2012 rewrite of what if Mona and Sal were more involved in the space arc. There's a moment I included where Sal scolds Leo for his attempt at a self sacrifice, to which Leo says all he ever wanted was to be like his idol Captain Ryan. Sal basically tells Leo that he needs to rethink who he looks up to (cause Ryan SUCKS as a leader imo), and this would make Leo reflect everything he was taught and believed.
Can you make a picture of Raph and Mona kissing in front of their kids while Mikey covered Sal's eyes as he knew he didn't wanna see it.
-P.S. I the designs look BEAUTIFUL ❤️💕❤️,✨✨✨✨✨✨ Keep up the good work!
Agh totally forgot the Mike part 💀 but hope this is still worthy enjoy!
