Pretty sure this guy from TMT is a sibling to bettababies‘s Tui, whom I had imported a couple month ago. And I want him >_>
Right now I have Beck (the chocolatey/yellow copper OHM purchased for a spawn I ended up being too busy to commit to) in the display tank and he’s doing great in there, but he’s not quite the bright centerpiece I wanted for such a dark tank. The cello/yellow/copper combo is gorgeous but doesn’t stand out.
Now I just have to decide if it’s worth $40 to get this fish and go through the whole quarantine routine.
I was just going to wait until something awesome popped up at Petco, but I also want something really healthy this time. It kind of makes sense to spend $40 on a healthy fish, rather than $20 on an okay fish that may need $10 medicine and may not make it.
Importing always makes me nervous, and I’d be using a different transhipper this time (Julie Tran). Should I just go ahead and get him?
