Your foot was bouncing up and down nonstop as Jordan done your make up. She and Shannon watched you. ‘Will you came down.’ ‘I’m sorry.’ You said as you finally looked up at them. ‘I’m just nervous.’ You told them truthfully. ‘Why are you nervous?’ Jordan asked as she finished the makeup and you thanked her. ‘What if he changes his mind, what if I fall, what if…’ You said as you listed of the list that had been building in your head. ‘Y/N, firstly he won’t change his mind, he loves you. Secondly, you wont fall Drew is helping you walk down the aisle, so please don’t worry.’ Shannon said, as she placed her hands gently on your shoulders, you raised a hand and placed it on one of hers. ‘I know, I really do but I can’t help but think about the things that could go wrong.’ You told them truthfully, they looked at you and smiled. Shannon walked away into the part just of the room. ‘Well I don’t think TC would care if you were to fall, that was one of the reason he fell for you.’ Jordan said, and you nodded, you both saw Shannon return holding the white bag. ‘But, it’s time for you to put your dress on.’ Jordan almost sang, he eyes glistening.

‘Wow.’ You heard drew say as you finished smoothing the dress. ‘You like it?’ You asked him as you turned around, and Shannon placed the small vail on. ‘Yeah, you look amazing.’ He commented as he walked further into the room. ‘So, are you ready?’ Drew said, taking your hand in his. You looked at him and nodded. He smiled widely before leading you out and down the hall way to where your future husband waiting. ‘Don’t let me fall.’ You whispered to him, he looked down at you shaking his head. ‘Never.’ He said placing a kiss onto your forehead before walking t down the aisle, you looked at everyone you knew, old and new friends, family, work colleagues, then your eyes landed on TC. Your smiled widened as you and he made eye contact.

‘I would like to say a few words.’ Drew said as he pushed the chair back slightly and stood up holding a glass of the champagne. ‘I remember when Y/N came to me and told me that her and TC, were dating. Tc who has always been my best friend and brother. I was hesitant at first, but then I saw how happy they made each other. I then knew that they were made for each other. Since then I have fully supported them, and I was ecstatic to find out that they were getting married. Now I can watch my sister and brother in law, start a family and live the hectic, adorable life they live together.’ Drew said, you smiled wiping the tears that were running down your cheek, before standing up and bringing him in for a tight hug and press a kiss to his forehead. You then stood back and watched as TC and Drew shared a hug.

‘So were no officially married.’ TC said, you smiled widely and looked up at him. ‘That we are Mr Callahan.’ You said pecking him on the lips. ‘Well now I can officially get to call you Mrs Callahan.’ He said. ‘Mmh? I kinda like it.’ You said as he placed his forehead on top of yours. ‘Too bad, you’re stuck with it now.’ He said, you nodded whilst smiling widely.

‘Hey Scottie.’ You said cheery, he took in your appearance and the lack of coordination and noted that you were drunk. He stood aside and watched as you stepped in. ‘Are you drunk?’ Scott asked, you looked at him but had to blink a couple of times before he focussed. When the room started to spin you closed your eyes for a second before re opening them. ‘Maybe.’ You trailed out. You tripped up taking your shoes off and thanks to your slow reactions you were falling face first, until a pair of arms wrapped around your waist. Scott pulled you up, keeping your close to his chest, when you placed a hand on top of his chest you looked up at him. ‘You’re my hero.’ You said, going on your toes to kiss him. ‘Yeah, I know.’ He said rolling his eyes. When you dropped your head against his chest, he sighed before hooking an arm behind your knees and another on your waist, securing you before he started walking up the stairs. ‘Now let’s get you to bed.’ He stated as you made an incoherent noise.

‘Don’t worry I didn’t change you.’ You heard Scott say, as you looked down at his shirt on your body. ‘How am I in your shirt then?’ You questioned. ‘You stole from my washing and put it on before climbing onto the bed and passing out.’ He commented as he passed you a glass of water and pain killers. You smiled and thanked him as he walked out the room. ‘Your clothes are on the dresser, I’ll meet your down stairs.’ He said and pointed at the dresser where your clothes were folded neatly.

‘I’m sorry.’ You said as you entered the kitchen. Scott glanced at your over his shoulder. ‘About what?’ he quizzed. ‘Showing up here drunk, your just back from recovery and I came her steaming.’ You said truthfully, he just waved a hand as he turned back to the kettle. ‘It’s fine, nice to know who’ll you’ll come to if you need help.’ He said, you knew he was hinting at something ‘I’d always come to you.’ You said truthful. ‘You always seem to go to TC.’ He said, and you stood up, walking over to him. ‘Is that jealously I hear?’ You asked him, and he shook his head, handing you the cup. You took the cup before setting it down on the counter, grabbing his arms and bringing him in, when your lips connected with his. You placed your hands on the nape of his neck, pulling the small hairs that were there, he moaned as he placed his hands on your hips, pulling you closer, one moving up until it was entwined in your hair. You pulled back and both of you were breathless, almost gasping for air. ‘Me and TC were in the rangers together, that’s all.’ You said as you bumped his nose with yours. He relaxed and smiled slightly. ‘I’ve always liked you, but you were busy with Jordan.’ You commented, he looked down before smiling. His hands tightened slightly. ‘I’m not anymore.’ He said before he attacked your lips with his and pressed you against the counter.

‘Incoming, Y/A, struggling to breath has history or asthma.’ TC heard, he placed gloves on and raised his arm. ‘I’ll take it.’ Tc said, he watched as you were being wheeled in on a chair, coughing but had a fed up look on your face. As you moved yourself onto the bed, you said a quiet thank you to the porter. He nodded and then left. ‘TC.’ He said, you nodded. ‘Y/N.’ You replied, breathless. ‘So what bring you here today?’ TC joked, you smiled at him. ‘Just thought I’d visit, ya know?’ You said sarcastically, he chuckled before you started to cough bad again. ‘Have you had this before?’ He asked as he handed you and oxygen mask, you smiled before holding it up to you mouth and nose. ‘Yeah?’ You said, pointing at the file in his hand, which was probably yours. ‘In my file.’ You said before you had to place the oxygen mask on again. He nodded and looked through his file, before looking up. ‘I’m going to go and get the medicine, keep using the air as you need it, okay?’ He asked you nodded and he turned around, opening the curtain before looking back. ‘Any family I can call?’ TC asked you. ‘No.’ you said shaking your head. He nodded and then left to get your medicine, he didn’t close the curtain all the way over so you could see everything. ‘He’ll find me soon.’ You mumbled.

‘Y/N, what are you doing here?’ Drew asked as he saw you sitting on the bed, when he walked in you could see him searching you over for injuries. You opened your mouth but then TC came in and stopped when he saw Drew. ‘Drew.’ T said, nodding his head. ‘Why is she here?’ Drew asked all panicked. ‘I can only tell family that.’ Tc said smiling at Drew. Drew’s eyebrows creased. ‘Well I am.’ Drew said, taking a hold of your hand. You smiled up at him being the protective older brother. ‘TC, met my sister in law, Y/N, Y/N met my friend TC.’ Drew said, you smiled wide as TC smiled back at you, with shock in his eyes. ‘Never knew you had a sister.’ TC commented as he filled in paperwork. ‘Yeah, well you don’t ask so I don’t tell and when I do you don’t listen.’ He told TC. ’Plus she’s Ricks sister.’ Drew said as he watched TC closely, TC nodded and shrugged before reaching out to give you the medicine. ‘Use whenever you need it, don’t do any tiring exercises.’ TC said and you nodded but Drew interrupted. ‘This wasn’t what you were on the last time.’ Drew commented as he looked at the inhaler. ‘It’s too weak.’ He commented again. ‘Drew.’ You said. ‘Drew stop.’ You repeated, bringing the hand down that held the inhaler down ‘It was the one I was on, It’s the same name. it will be fine.’ You told him with a reassuring smile. ‘Well I better stay with you-’ He said but you stopped him. ‘No, go and work. If I need anybody I will call Rick.’ You said, patting his hand, he looked at you before nodding. ‘Don’t bother I'll call him myself.’ You opened your mouth but before you could say anything he bent down and placed a kiss on your forehead, you smiled up at him. ‘See you later.’ You said, he nodded before walking through the curtains with Tc. ‘So, Y/N...’ TC said, looking at Drew, he turned around quickly pointing a finger at him. ’Don’t think about it TC.’ Drew said as TC walked away laughing.

Love Bomb

When you came in this morning, what happened was not what you expected. Walking in you were smiling, saying hello to everyone before making your way through to the changing rooms. You smiled wider when you saw TC standing getting changed. You walked up to him and wrapped your arms around his waist, placing your neck on his shoulder. ‘Hey.’ You said. He placed his hands-on top of yours, rubbing them. ‘Hi.’ He replied, turning around and placing a kiss on your cheek. ‘You good?’ You asked since he was going into the last hours of his 24-hour shift. ‘Yeah, it’s been rough but it’s almost over then I get to spend two full days with you.’ He said, turning around and facing you. He leant down but then your pager went off, he smiled. ‘Duty calls.’ You said, placing a quick kiss on his lips.

You were running around, holding bandages. You rushed past people, stepping over rubble, bits and pieces everywhere. You made it to the med bay, handing bandages out to everyone. You winced when you felt a pain in your side. You raised your shirt and your saw something sticking out your stomach. You grabbed a spare bandage and went to the bathroom. Puling the small object out, your gasped in pain. You wrapped the bandage around before pulling your shirt down and leaving the bathroom.

You were admitting a patient, when a man walked in. He was walking all over the place. You looked passed the patient over to Jocelyn, walking over to the man you gently touched his shoulder. ‘Are you okay sir?’ You asked, his head snapped up. ‘Get out my way!’ He shouted at you. ‘I’m just trying to help.’ You said calmly. ‘Stay away bitch!’ He screamed, you raised your arms and nodded. ‘If you could move over to the spare room please?’ You asked gently. You started walking ahead of him. When you didn’t hear any footsteps behind you, you turned around, to see him reaching in his pocket. When he brung out a trigger. He then opened his opened his jacket and showed a bomb. ‘BOMB!’ You screamed, everyone tried to move but when he pressed the button, everything went white.

You hadn’t seen TC since before the bomb, you knew he would be okay but you still couldn’t help but feel worried about him. When you went into the next room you were needed, you walked into, and looked around to see TC working on a patient next to you. ‘You’re okay?’ You asked as you went to your patient. ‘Yeah. You?’ You asked him, he nodded before finishing up on the patient. He sent her on her way and moved over to you. When you reached up, you winced and TC was at your side. ‘Your hurt.’ He said as he gently touched your stomach. You nodded but removed his arm and paided attention to the man in front of you. ‘Will you marry me?’ TC said suddenly, you froze before your continued stitching the patient. ‘What?’ You asked. He stood by your side trying to have a look at your cut. ‘Marry me?’ He repeated again. ‘TC...’ You started but he then stood up straight dropping your top. ‘This just proves it, we don’t know what’s going to happen, what’s planned for us. We could have lost each other and I can’t take the thought of not being by your side.’ He said, standing moving his arms animatedly. You looked down at the ground, smiling. ‘Okay.’ You said. ‘What?’ He asked, looking blinking a couple of times. ‘Okay.’ You said, he smiled widely before grabbing your face and bringing you in for a quick kisses, before he ran out to work with another patient, you looked down and stared focussing on the man’s injury.

As you and Jocelyn were leaving the dressing room, you were gossiping, you had hardly seen each other today since it had been really busy. You and Jocelyn had been best friends since med school. As you were almost at the main door, you got side-tracked with Molly. You were all talking and then the doors opened and Molly was being whisked away. You and Jo walked out and you immediately wrap your arms around your torso. You could hear Jo snicker. ‘You never learn Y/N.’ She said, it was the truth you always forget a jacket, even in the winter. ‘What, I forgot my jacket.’ You simply said. ‘I know but you always forget it.’ She said truthfully, you couldn’t deny it now. ‘Maybe I’m hoping that a handsome man will come to my rescue and give me their jacket.’ You teased her, she shook her head, bumping into you. You had walked maybe five minutes, you had your arms wrapped around yourself, the wind hitting you hard. ‘Excuse me?’ You heard, you looked up and turned to see the new staff member, Ragosa, you believed it was from your conversations with Molly and Jordan. ‘Take my jacket, it’s cold outside.’ Ragosa said, you nodded placed it around your shoulders and ‘What about you?’ As you took a hold of the jacket. ‘I need to go back in anyway, you need it more than I do.’ He said, he was about to turn away when you spoke up. ‘How will I give it back to you?’ You asked him. he looked over you, smiling. ‘How about a date?’ He asked, you looked down a blush forming on your cheeks, you looked up, tucking loose hair behind your ears. You nodded. ‘Yeah.’ You replied, he smiled before nodding and walking away. You turned to see Jocelyn smirking at you, you shook your head, bringing the jacket tighter around you. ‘Your plan worked.’ Jo said as you both began walking away. ‘Shut it.’ You said, but couldn’t help but smile as you took in the scent of the jacket.

You walked around the corner, carry new equipment, when you bumped into something hard. ‘Watch it.’ You heard the voice say. ‘What up with you?’ You asked Drew. You had never seen him like this. He was either like this when something was wrong with Rick or his mother. ‘Just leave me alone.’ He said. He looked at you with hatred. That’s when you realized that someone had made a comment about his sexuality. ‘Do you need to talk?’ You asked him. ‘No!’ He screamed. You took a step back, everyone turned to you. ‘What is the problem Drew?’ You asked him, giving him a chance to let his anger out. ‘You, i’s you I have the problem with.’ He angrily said, you glanced around and saw people stopping and staring. Waiting to see what will unfold. ‘Me, why?’ You asked clueless. ‘The fact you get away with everything you do.’ He snarled, you were taken aback, never hearing him talk about you in that tone. ‘Like what?’ You quizzed, wanting to know what you were getting into trouble for. ‘For first, not having to tell anyone your gay and deal with all the comments.’ He said. You tensed up and stared at him. Your hurt turned into hatred as you heard the gasps all around you. ‘Let me stop you right there.’ You said stepping forward. His eyes snapped up to yours. ‘I never made you come out, you came out. You done it for Rick, you’ve had some comments, but everyone around here has helped you.’ You explained to him, when he realized what was going on his face softened. ‘You just broke my trust, telling everyone that.’ You said calm, to calm that everyone knew that you were pissed beyond anything. ‘You knew the struggles I went and go through, I talked to you about it.; ‘But I guess this is over.’ You said waving your finger about between the two of you. Drew’s face dropped and he opened his mouth. ‘Don’t say anything.’ You hissed, turning on your heel and walking away.

Drew watched your retreating form when he heard a comment behind him. ‘That was low Drew.’ TC said as he came around and placed a hand on his shoulder. ’Tell me about it.’ Drew sighed before walking off. ‘What I’m telling you the truth.’ TC replied as he raised his arms and watched Drew, everyone slowly going back to what they were originally doing.

Drew found you later in the day, sitting in the changing room. When he entered he saw you sitting facing your locker. ‘I’m sorry.’ He said, breaking the silence of the room. ‘Go away.’ You said to him, your head lowered so your chin was touching your chest. ‘No.’ He said, you looked at him over your shoulder and scoffed. ‘What, wanted to come and hurt me more?’ You asked him, he took a seat next to you. ‘No, I came to apologize. I don’t know what came over me, I regretted it as soon as it came out.’ He told you, you sighed. You couldn’t stay mad at him forever, you had both created a bond through having to keep a secret from everyone for so long. He had always been there for you when you had break ups and you couldn’t go to anyone else. ‘I forgive you but…’ You said and he looked up hopeful. ‘You need to do all my paper work for a month.’ You said, he groaned but nodded. ‘Fine.’ He replied, you smiled and gave him a hug just as both your pagers went off.

Word Count - 568 Characters - Reader x Ragosa

It had been a couple of weeks since the Ragosa incident, you and him had grown closer. He would bring you lunch if you were working later and he had been working harder to get better benefits and services for the nurses. Today you were involved in a meeting with him, you were sitting looking through the folder that included the notes. As you looked through the files and upcoming points ‘What does it matter what you say?’ A man, with greased back hair, and a sharp black suit on. ‘James, don’t.’ You heard someone say. ‘What does it matter? Maybe the fact that after this meeting, I am going into a 24-hour shift, between me and the other five nurses, we might get a day off between us. Maybe that, we are working these hours, to improve your hospitals.’ You said, fixing the files as you kept eye contact with James, who was trying to look anywhere but you. You broke eye contact and looked at everyone around the room. Some were shocked, obviously no one has talked to him like that before, then there were ones smiling proudly not hiding then there was Ragosa, who was chuckling to himself, his head tucked down into his chin. You leaned back in your seat as James cleared his throat. ‘Right, ehh, well you and Michael can leave, well call you back in ten minutes with an answer.’ James said, you smiled and nodded before standing up. Ragosa stood up and followed you out into the hallway and over to the vending machine. ‘You were great in there.’ Ragosa said, you looked up from your bag and smiled. ’Yeah, well you know I don’t hold back.’ You told him, he nodded as you put money in the machine, you punched in the numbers.

You and Ragosa left the building with giant smiles on your faces, you had won and you were getting more nurses and supplies to give the nurses the needing number of hours off. You and Ragosa had made it to his car. ‘I can’t believe you done that.’ Ragosa said in disbelief as he held the door open for you. ‘I don’t think it was all me.’ You said, as you waited for him to join you at your side. ‘It was mostly all you, James has never been stood up to.’ He said honestly, as he and you walked side beside. ‘I think I need to bring you to all my meetings.’ Ragosa said, you faced his with a disgusted look. ‘No thank you.’ You said smiling as he sighed, nodding in defeat. You and him got into his car, and he started the engine. As he drove away, it was silent until the end of the car pack. ‘How about to celebrate we go to dinner, just you and me?’ Ragosa asked as he looked at you, you bit your lip. ‘So like a date?’ You asked him back, as you turned your head to look at him. His eyes went slightly wide before he nodded. ‘Yeah, a date.’ He agreed, looking back at the road. ‘Okay.’ You agreed to the date. ‘Okay?’ he asked turning back to you quickly, you couldn’t help but smile wider. ‘Yeah, you work the shifts so you should know when I’m off.’ You said to him as you watched him nodded and then drive out the car park.

You were at the front of the elevator when at the fourth floor, a large group of nurses and doctors got on. You smile at them when they got on and stepped to the back of the elevator. It stopped again at the third and two more people got on. It was silent, until the two at the front started talking. ‘So when do you think, Y/N will get the hint?’ It was TC and he was talking about you. Everyone stiffened slightly, but stayed quiet. ‘TC, your gonna have to tell her.’ Drew said. You felt your chest getting tight. ‘I mean come on, I don’t like her.’ ‘TC.’ Drew said as the elevator got to the bottom floor, he turned around and made eye contact with you. You shook your head at him. ‘She’s not my type, I mean come on. She just…’ Tc continued and you made you way to behind them. The people in the elevator moving to allow you to. Drew watched you as his eyes got wider. ‘She’s just what?’ You asked. TC turned around quickly and opened his mouth but the elevator doors opened, you pushed past them and went to Ragosa’s office. You opened the door and saw him sitting with a bag of ice on his face, a purple bruise forming around his cheekbone. ‘Michael what happened?’ You asked as you saw him, holding ice to his face. ‘Nothing.’ He said waving his hand. ‘Tell me.’ You demanded. ‘TC.’ He said and before he could stop you, you were out the room and looking for TC. You found him standing next to Drew. It was the last stop for him, punching Ragosa. ‘TC.’ You said and he turned around, you saw him roll his eyes, which annoyed you even more. You walked up so you were in front of him, you were smaller than him but you keep your eye contact. ‘What d-‘ He started but he got cut off when your fist came into contact with his left cheek, making him swivel into Drew. You wiggled your fingers afterwards, checking if they were broken. ‘What was that for?’ Drew asked with wide eyes. You looked between them. ‘I’m sure you know.’ You said harshly. You turned back to TC, rubbing his face which was now red. ‘You can say and do whatever you want to me but don’t think about punching my brother.’ You said and turned away. TC was trying to figure out who your bother was. Then it hit him. ‘Ragosa’s your brother.’ He said you looked over your shoulders and clapped your hands. ‘We have a winner.’ You said sarcastically as you walked away.
