When Mickey walked down the street, people crossed to avoid him.
He'd hand-crafted a dangerous persona for himself that was curated from experience. To most people, Mickey was just a boy--a thug--from the neighborhood. But he learned quickly the only power he'd ever have--the only way he wouldn't be eaten alive--was to make people fear him. So he did.
But Ian loved it. He was sexy. Dangerous. And Ian loved all the things that annoyed everyone else about him. Lip once asked him out of all the men in the world, why choose Mickey?
He didn't understand how anyone wouldn't.
From this day forward, we are redirecting our minds from body negativity.
The next time you stand in the mirror, just in that moment where you about to say/think “Ugh. I’m so fat/ugly/skinny/boxy/flat/huge/bloated”
Redirect.
Now.
The SECOND the “Ugh, I’m so” even starts? It’s time for redirection.
Instead of “ugh I’m so this that or the other”
Say “I’m so beautiful” FORCE it.
FORCE IT.
you won’t believe it at first, at least speaking from my own experience.
And Cognitive change is hard. It’s gonna take a while. And you’re not gonna believe it at first. And then suddenly? You start to.
Begin with positivity with your body. You only have one. All of us are fucking beautiful.
Don’t be your own bully!
“Ugh, I’m so-“ NOPE. NOT TODAY, SATAN. NOT TODAY.
Alucard: Oh look at that yellow car... I kinda like the bright color, even if it reminds me of Taxi's.
