M!A murrain
Murrain: muse is deathly ill. Lasts two days.
It’s a sudden start. There’s no warning; one moment Ross is her bubbly self and the next she’s on the floor. Her body feels as though it’s infested. Her skin burns like fire ant venom, her head pounds like a beast is beating its way out of her skull. Tears blur her vision as she wretches until her chest aches and her ears ring. With a low groan she rolls away from her mess. Her muscles are stiff and her body shudders, and she can barely breathe past the pain and tears.
The main thing is to be moved, to love, to hope, to tremble, to live.
