Photo Friday?
Since the site is a little desperate for content this past month, I decided that I'd try to post a photo every Friday of spots that aren't usually skated in this town. Partially to get me shooting photos more and also to get all of you exploring around to find new stuff to skate and get tricks shot at. If you've got a trick on something new, get at me on facebook! First up we have Todd Maloy with a stylish ollie on a tiny little bank that we found while biking one day. This spot is located at http://is.gd/f04D7 (where the vacant lot is on google maps). Todd Maloy Photo Friday!
Canon 1D Classic Canon 50mm 1/500 f/4.0 Super ultra top secret spot that Todd discovered and we had been working on fixing up for a while. Here's two videos that we filmed there, http://vimeo.com/10671241 and http://vimeo.com/10448244 I can't remember the location to find it on google maps, but it's somewhere behind an empty warehouse in the industrial district of Pooler. Lots and lots of ledges and stuff to get creative with. Next time him and I head out there, I'll be sure to remember where it's at and get some photos of the whole spot to put it on the map. As always, if you’ve got an unknown spot in mind and want to get a trick shot, hit me up on facebook.
Got my camera back!
Finally got my camera back from the Canon repair factory. They wandered their magical hands all over my baby and fixed her up real good. Brought it out last night to the parking lot by Turner to shoot some pics of the regulars skating my new box. I'll call this a photo Friday even though it's Saturday now and not technically a new undiscovered spot, but idgaf because I'm just happy to be shooting flicks again. As always click them to make them bigger, and hit me up on facebook if you want to get a photo for next week.
Sequence Friday!
Two sequences featuring Todd Maloy shot in the medical district .Slight bump-to-bump kickflip. Grass gap fs flip. Both shot on a Canon 1dmkII with a tokina 10-17 fisheye at 8fps. As always, hit me up on facebook if you want to get a photo for next week.
