ShinTokoDeku Soulmate AU? (Because look our little Sunshine deserves two Goth Boys.)

  Not everyone meets their soulmate. It’s even less likely when you have two like Izuku did, the marks on his shoulder blades a dazed purple eye and a shadowy bird. Everyone told him he’d never meet them and even if he did, they would either not believe him since he was Quirkless with no mark to give or they would never want him.

 Izuku learned the ‘no mark to give’ idea was false when he turned ten and the history of soulmates was brought up, spanning centuries before Quirks. He enjoyed pointing that out to bullies and watching their faces as they tried to argue. His mark would be a hobby or something that defined him. 

 Izuku continued with his life, ignoring the bullies as best he could while studying, going to school and training. Hero work would come one day, he just knew it. Though first, he’d have to get used to avoiding the bullies, particularly his once friend Bakugou given his anger that Izuku proved him wrong about a taunt of having no mark.

 It led to Izuku giving to another city to go to the library, where he met a purple-haired teen who looked bored. The teen was studying himself, and Izuku had to pass him in order to get to some books. As he did, Izuku tripped on the purple-haired teen’s bag and automatically reached to halt his fail, grabbing the shoulder of the other teen. Warmth spread through the two and they froze, eyes wide.

 “Oh…” Izuku said softly. 

 “Uh… hi.” The purple-haired teen said. “I’m Shinsou Hitoshi.”

 “Midoriya Izuku,” Izuku said softly, removing his hand despite the cold that came after. 

 “Hitoshi?” A voice asked, and a bird-headed teen walked over to them.

 “Fumi- I just found our third,” Shinsou said instantly and Izuku felt his heartbeat quicken.

 Not everyone finds their soulmate, and those with two rarely find both. But Izuku did. 

 He felt very lucky.
