i feel obligated to grieve everyone because i hate the idea that they just don't exist anymore

they were real people and they existed and it's so weird because i can't explain to everyone that half of my system members just disappeared into the void

but they existed. and im not going to see them anymore and they never get to finish all the shit they were going to do

and they were genuinely growing as people and had relationships and now we're here

and i feel obligated to grieve because they can't just not exist anymore

but that is so confusing because i didn't know these people

i just know the concept of them and all the art and shitty poetry they left behind

and i will never know them personally and they're gone
