Our first big harvest, AKA, the Uncrackening. One of the things I learned from last season's heirloom tomatoes is that I need to harvest all the ripening tomatoes before a major influx of rain to prevent cracking. We picked the two deep red ones the other day and they are ready to eat. The bright green tomatoes are actually "green when ripe" tomatoes and we'll explore them tomorrow.
