Speaking as an IT professional that has to set/reset a lot of passwords. The best secure password you are likely to actually remember is to just fuck up a phrase.
When I was in college my student account password was always a variation of Too Cool For School such as 2K0O!4$cH%l
It doesnt have to be that jumbled right from the jump, maybe just start with a $ for an S and a 1 for a L. Then every time you have to change it just fuck up one more character. It makes it easier to remember and more secure, especially since it kinda defeats the purpose if you just have it written down somewhere.
