Aaahhh thank you toothwalker and rushofbrightness! I think -- THINK, touch wood -- that I may have gotten the hang of this bc I managed to get the thing out in less than 30 seconds two attempts out of three in the last 24 hours (AND it didn’t leak last night despite being a really heavy night so GOOD SIGN) and

OK I give up I’m using tampons today because spending a cumulative hour in the shower a day drying my skin out trying to dig the damn thing out is a little old and it’s only day 2 of my period and I need a break from this already. Think I’ll try again on a lighter day, because it leaks anyway even when I’m positive the seal is in.

(Actually the seal is so good I’m p sure I had a bruise in my vagina by the end of it last time because every time I stuck my fingers in on the last day there was pain. Ow.)

Anyway toothwalker and rushofbrightness -- since you offered (thank you!), if either of you have tips not likely to be covered by Google I’m all ears. It goes in too deep even if I put it in shallowly (when it just leaks even more anyway), but squatting etc doesn’t work to push it down at all, and my skin was terribly itchy from all the showers I’d had last month. It takes a long time of digging around before I can ease it down. :(

I’d like to get the hang of this because buying tampons each month is a pain but I think I’ll relax for a few days before I try again.

Top 5 tumblr overreactions… damn, this is tough. Since I learned to check my sources, I haven’t taken much notice of them, and most people I am friends with have stopped sharing them too. Nowadays, those reactions we talked about (oh nooooo so problematic!!1!) are pretty rare on my dash, and the ones I do see are often legitimate.
