Hope Full Tribrid and Children Discussion
What I'm about to say will be a debatable thing that was brought to discussion from this weeks legacies episode. Everyone in the fandom thinks its possible or impossible thing for Hope to be able to have children even if she becomes full tribrid.
This is me speaking my opinion and research in mythology that Hope's possibly of having children is 50/50 chance. Not because she is Hybrid like Klaus and could conceive a child like he did, but on if the writers decide it's possible if she becomes a full tribrid.
They're are myth's where vampire have half vampire children-dhampir. The problem is that myth tells that it is always the male vampire capable of conceiving a child. Yes, Klaus was capable of having child due to his hybrid nature. But that possibility takes after this myth. Female vampires or in this case hybrids (like Hayley ) explains that their bodies are incapable of having conceiving another child, let alone having one.
Before anyone says anything, yes their were a few cases of female vampires having children. Caroline was only able to have a child or carry Josie & Lizzie was due to Gemini coven transferring them to her via utero and carrying them to full term. Through surrogacy she could carry them, but the rest is difficult. Her vampire body couldn't birth them, so they were C-sectioned. Another vampire female I may mention was Darla from Buffy and Angel. She became lucky in having her son, Connor was due to the divine nature and influence of the Powers That Be. Now back to topic!
These are the two problems that are brought into this topic of discussion. Is Hope Mikaelson capable of conceiving and then birthing a child if she becomes a full tribrid? Some people might say that 2/3 chances of her witch and werewolf side may help the odds, but will her body being undead and immortal prevent that? In the myths and stories a undead female vampire are incapable of having children. In the Originals they showed after Hayley was turned into hybrid she became another case that shows undead females are incapable of having anymore children. Hope's possibility or miraculously having a child after becoming a full tribrid is not in decision made by the fandom. The choice of it possibility coming to pass would be writers of legacies want it to happen. Not only that this choice belongs Hope on whether or not she wants to die and become a fully realized tribrid. The choice to either live her life she wants or take her immortality.
PS. I find that supernatural or writers rule for Hope's chance of having or not having children as a full tribrid because she deserves more when they are taking everything away from her too much.
