Rehearsal Dinner Series: Speakeasy 21
To kick off our Rehearsal Dinner Series, today we are featuring a unique gem in the heart of downtown Toronto's Financial District.
Laced with details from the 1920's, Speakeasy 21 is a little restaurant wedged between tall bank buildings and the Trump International Tower and caters to the lunchtime Bay St. group, as well as the more upscale tourists visiting our beautiful city.
This is definitely a place to bring your group if you want impress your guests with the exquisite, yet down to earth menu, in more of a refined, upscale setting. Long seating and high tables and chairs are ideal for having gatherings and the "disappearing" TV is available to stream slideshows or can be turned off and masked a simple mirror. A DJ plug in is also available to entertain guests.
The food, as mentioned, was sublime. And we loved the little details, like the mason jar cocktails and the presentation of food on wooden platters.
The restaurant also has a semi-private area away from the after-work crowd, though no private dining. It is easily accessible by TTC through the adjoining PATH system.
Definitely a winner!
