Chris shifted uncomfortably, one ear flickering in annoyance. He had already spent a couple of days as a reindeer so he was certainly used to the body by now, but what he had yet to find was a good sleeping position.
Like all deer, reindeer slept laying down in bedding of some kind, usually after eating to grab a quick doze. While he was dealing okay with the difference in his sleeping pattern, the area with which he did it seemed to be constantly changing, and not in the "Deer tend to bed wherever they please" sort of way.
His shared bedroom with Martin had proven a bit too crowded for him, to say nothing of the brothers having to deal with being in the room at the same time. Chris wasn't the problem, as Martin's sleep tended to be deep enough that any disturbances washed right over him. Unfortunately with that deep sleep came random bouts of snoring, which were enough to make Chris seek bedding elsewhere.
The garage hadn't worked either; it was too secluded for his tastes, and all the vehicles parked down there gave it an unpleasant (to reindeer noses, anyway) metallic-oily odor. So he was up in the atrium at the moment, which was proving just as annoying as anywhere else. Tucked in a corner near the tree Chris shifted and rested his chin across one foreleg, shutting his eyes tighter in resolute determination to actually sleep.
So far it wasn't going well.
