Why is toru watanabe your comfort character if i may ask? Just curious!
To some extent, i think one of the reasons why I'm drawn to Toru's character is that under certain light we are alike. I think we're both "spectators" in our own lives, standing outside and looking in. He was an observer in his own life, who had put a curtain of "indifference" between himself and the rest of the world. The curtain was there to protect him from feeling, because people like him, when they allow themselves to be touched by the world, always feel too much and get crashed under the lightest of touch. Another thing I like is the caring, the "not to me, not if it's you" and "on purpose, I'm going to love you on purpose" side of his character. Additionally, he has his own special way with words — a trait I will always fall for 🌼
