Ok, hang on. I have a really stupid idea for an MHA fic. I'm calling it "Background Harem Protagonist Uraraka."

Just stick with me on this.

So the main plot is your bog standard MLM ship falling in love story. Can be literally any ship, as long as it's MLM (you'll get why in a sec). Preferably, the fic should be at least somewhat in-depth, but it doesn't need to be super scrutinous with the details of the main plot. What's actually important is what's happening in the background during the fic. Essentially, at every plot event the two guys go to, Uraraka (doesn't necessarily have to be Uraraka but I want it to be because I think it would be funny) is there, making out with a girl. And it's never more than a passing mention. Basically:

Guy 1: "Hey, it's Uraraka. We should go say hi."

*brief narration describing Uraraka making out with another girl*

Guy 2: "Nah, she looks busy."

And that's it. They just move on.

Now, here's the real kicker for this joke. Every time this happens, the girl Uraraka is kissing is different. And this is never commented on by the two guys. They never say anything about the girl being different each time. Just: "hey, it's Uraraka," "oh she looks busy," and that's it.

Also, there should be a bit where the two guys see Uraraka kissing a girl, then later run into that girl who offhandedly mentions being in a relationship with a different girl, and then the next time the guys see Uraraka, she making out with that different girl.

The final scene of the fic is the two guys in the dorm's living room or kitchen, having their big heartfelt confession only to be interrupted by a noise. They turn to see Toga (who has not appeared in the fic up till this point) sneaking in through the window. The interaction then goes as follows:

Guy 1: "Oh, hi Toga."

Toga: "Hey. Could you guys tell me where Ochako’s room is."

Guy 2: "Oh yeah, it's [whatever room Uraraka is in]."

Toga: "Thanks."

Both guys: "No problem."

And then Toga heads off to Uraraka's room, and both guys go back to their confession. Only after their done confessing their feelings does one of them go "hey wait, what the fuck, that was a villain" and then they both rush upstairs to Uraraka's room and burst in to find Uraraka, laying on her bed, surrounded by all the girls she's been making out with throughout the fic. And both guys are just like, "Oh yeah, that makes sense," and then they leave, and that's where the fic ends.

Look, I know this is stupid, but I just really want to give Uraraka a harem of girls who all love her. She's been stuck in comphet for so long that she needs to go so far the other way that she acquires every girl ever as her girlfriend.

What if Ochako tells her girlfriend, Toru, everyday how beautiful she is, but Toru doesn't believe her because no one can see her.

Ochako says she knows because of how beautiful she feels: the softness of her skin that she spends hours a week exfoliating and moisturizing, the fullness of her voluminous hair, the way she sounds – bright like a sunny morning, the catch of a cool breeze running through your hair.

She smells beautiful, too. Like a candy shop, like youth, sweetness and a hint of hand-picked cherries. She's sweet and soft and blooming with love and bubbly energy, enthusiasm and passion, and Ochako can feel the way her curves rise and fall across the surface of her skin when she holds her this close.

She knows she's beautiful, and she never hesitates to remind Toru of this, no matter how much backlash in teasing banter she gets in return.

But then one day they find a way to photograph her, and when Ochako sees her Toru for the first time – really sees her – it's all too much. It comes over her like a tidal wave. She instantly tears up and throws her arms around her partner, holding her there tightly and whispering to her softly, "See, baby? I told you so. I knew you were beautiful. You're the prettiest girl in the whole world, and you're mine."
