This is an incredibly eye-opening documentary about labor camps in North Korea. I've never felt more awful, I am still struggling to grasp how such a place can exist in the 21st century.

It’s beyond the reach of conventional media to have reported such an appalling story, so efficiently kept under wraps by North Korea’s rulers. Only a documentary film could have done this: so there’s your justification for documentary films right there.
