Yo, so the characters Rauru and Sonia have true occult/esoteric roots…but in design only…which is still pretty neat IMO!
Compare the images found in the painting called “The Grand Rosicrucian Alchemical Formula” with those of Rauru and Sonia!
They even added items to Rauru’s ears, similar to the light orbs on the deer’s antlers, and Sonia has long blonde hair like the woman in the painting.
Again though, this is design only! The alchemical meanings and values of the painting do not really carry forward in the characters themselves or gameplay.
