I also have a more casual look for her, but this one was more fun to work on. I haven't finished her cosplay yet but I do like how it's been coming out. I might post my Link cosplay at some point since I've also finished it !

This is the point to turn around or read my thoughts on #tearsofthekingdom. You’ve been warned ⚠️

People who know me, also know I’m not the biggest fan of Botw. I don’t think it’s awful I just have a lot to complain about but just like BotW I think TotK is okay. I liked it more than Botw and one can only applaud the fusing mechanic on a technical level. 

Still it’s not what I connect with Zelda, at least not enough. It was very fun in the beginning but it faded out.  I’m a player very invested in the story, which both Botw and Totk don’t have much of (it’s also mostly optional). I think Totk has a really great finale, very atmospheric, but the story before that felt very similar to Botw (also very little continuity from BotW, which I found sad). I ignored a lot of the story on purpose for a long time because I didn’t want it to be over so quick and to be disappointed. But that didn’t really help because it was so scattered that it didn’t make that much of an impact. I also found the memories in an order that made everything happening very predictable. There were three times a specific scene actually got to me. And the way to the finale boss fight was pretty epic.

Still I miss a more linear approach, I miss old-fashioned dungeons and having more of them. There are certainly fun elements to those new Zelda games, but  they are not quite for me. I do enjoy the outfits though^^
