Au Lit: Le Baiser Obikin
Omgggggg. @aprimoon did it again and drew this absolutely gorgeous rendition of Au Lit: Le Baiser by Toulouse-Lautrec and omgggggggg.
I learned that the Le Lit piece was part of a series, so upon seeing the rest, I asked Aprimoon to do one more to accompany the first one they did, and homggggg.
I have no regrets. It came out perfect!!! Ahhhh! Here! You can see the two together below!
I love the progression so much! These pieces are telling their own story of love 🩵

Lay it all on me
I’d wanted to make a gelphie version of Toulouse-Lautrec’s “In Bed: The Kiss” for so long
While I was drawing it, I had “Lay it all on me” from the anime Carole & Tuesday (one of my forever favourites) on loop, and I think it suits them so well. It’s the gelphiest song ever 🫧
To me, the first verse is Elphaba singning, and the second is Glinda
“No more crying for you
Now we’ve made a bed of stone
Leave a light on for me
And I’ll find my way back home”
“I’ll leave a light on for you
In the darkest of the night
When your pulse is racing
And the world won’t make you right”
“Now it’s been forever
I don’t wanna wait too long
Now that we’re together
I will never do you wrong”
They are so precious to me
