“Escort a boat of cargo from the ruby sea back to Kugane.”
Inferno appointed Kugeki to lead a group of the employees to bring a boat of requested resources back to the city. The team consisted of Kugeki, Sterrbhar, Toumin, R’ain, Mahk, Teagan and Kazan. At first the job seemed easy enough for the group to handle.
However...
First a group of red kojin attacked the boat. Dragging Mahk and Kugeki under the waves while the rest of the team dispatched them as quickly as possible. The two were brought back to safety and they were all on their way.
Only a hundred yards from the city limits of Kugane and the team was stopped yet again this time by a group of archers and gunmen. They took damage and did their best to fight back. But all ceased as a lone hyur of the name Sid appeared. He begged with the group to give back his boat.
As it turned out, the boat had been stolen from him and after a short debate they agreed to use the boat and then return it.
Sid was grateful of them and gave the group a gift as well as his promise to return with any new and rare finds during his journey across the sea.
Everyone went off in their own directions leaving Sterr and Kugeki to return to their own home. Sterr made a promise to himself to have a sit down with Inferno about the fiasco of the job.
