Pea in year 201X Alt versions below! (Warning: a bit eye-searing)
Pea in year 201X. Second piece to be finished from the series. The first one is here! All the references are Venigni Works themed, this time.
a softer kind of reality (Pea from my comic, The Boy with the Arms)
The boy with the arms (and wings)
like a luminous pile of angelic yarn
The Boy with the Arms: Prequel!
BwtA has had the ending, and then it had the epilogue. Now it's time for a prequel!
It's a 4-page oneshot comic. It's about Pea's first 24 hours in the human world, before he was given the name Pea. If you haven't read the main comic yet, I would recommend reading that first, before the prequel.
Read the prequel here: [an unnamed angel awakens.] (Cw: non-sexual nudity, mild body horror) Below is a panel from the prequel!
The Boy with the Arms complete!
The Boy with the Arms is complete!!! Including the epilogue (which turned out to be substantial and longer than any of the other chapters...)!
You can read all 325 pages here!
Tooting my own horn for a moment: I'm so happy with the ending. I really, really, really wanted to do that last page justice, and I think I have! Here's a shot from the ending...
zzzz... No mica sparkle paint this time! Although Pea's freckles sparkle in the light, because my spotter brush is permanently loaded with mica for some reason. I don't think I've ever directly used a mica paint with that brush. It just caught mica from the paint water, and seemingly, magically, never runs out.
