It's Vampire! 🦇 Attack for @blueberry-lemon!
played a bit of @blueberry-lemon rpg tower of modula
ended up with the team comp of ok warrior wizard and decent attacker vamp... until I got the crafter and uhh turn the team set up to this: spellslinging warrior wizard who just attacks and use bonus actions to magic missile then give themselves mp and maybe toss a few to the debuff crew who attacks can't land a hit. Really enjoying these three characters and the dialog with each other, and it's fun.
fuck it, you can play as an alien now. it's my game, who cares. he's chillin.
if you don't mind me asking, what's something you're working on right now?
I'm working on a bite-sized turn-based RPG game currently called Tower of Modula that will be renamed to something else in the near future. I'm working slowly on an art book PDF of all my illustrations I've posted to Tumblr from about 2014-2026 with new artist commentary under each one.
For my day job I work on the games "A Dance of Fire and Ice" and "Rhythm Doctor."
In my spare time I'm also brainstorming other game ideas.

Right at the top: I have no expertise with designing RPGs. It’s something I’ve always dabbled with for fun, but I wouldn’t call that experti
I've decided to start a series of blog posts called RPG Design For Beginners. It's a combination of "game design tips" + "developer diary." I'm literally no authority on anything, but sometimes when I try to look up game design advice I'm surprised how hard it is to find even basic information. I want to pay it forward by writing down my thoughts as I learn things. Maybe it'll help you! First post is about the very bare-bones basics of designing turn-based combat.
