i wrote a fic on this already but nagi's red flag is easily his refusal for commitment or any kind of like, serious relationships :3 he's gonna keep stringing you along even when he actually has feelings for you :( he'd rather d*e than commit /hj. i think you'd know this from the get go but because you like him and you can tell he's interested you think maybe if you wait long enough he'll change his mind :( but he never does :(
toxic!nagi is like, almost hard angst pain. his other red flag is that there might be a chance that he only gives you the bare minimum when it comes to working your relationship out. or sometimes if you go against what he wants, he'll just leave you. he also has the tendency to come back as if nothing happened and he didn't hurt your feelings and HAS THE AUDACITY TO BE CONFUSED ABT WHY YOURE STILL HURT ABOUT IT !!! >:( during your arguments with him one of the most hurtful things he'd say is, "i don't care" or even "i don't care about you anymore" when things REALLY get heated. toxic!nagi also tends to tw gaslight you into accepting him back into your life over and over and over again. you're both like drug and addict not being able to get enough of each other even when you're aware it's bad for you :(
