It is snowing in Boston. It snows and the sky is grey like smoke. The snow speckles her dark hair. Her eye lashes. The cold pinches her cheeks pink. She is a muted blot against the grey sky. Against the flurry. She is smiling. 

There are three. 

They walk in tandem. 

Suffocating in the snow. The snow, grey like ash. It burns where it touches. Her flesh is covered in ash snow. It sticks to her. Her hands are white. Her hands are bone. She is smiling. 

There are two.  

She turns. 

“You think I’m pretty like this?” It is a question, but she says it like it’s fact. 

Indisputable. 

“I like when it’s just us.”

The snow is burning. 

Her throat purples. Her eyes are bloodshot against the white sky. Her throat blossoms. A big red flower. She is smiling. So big, and red is leaking through her teeth. Spilling down her chin.

“I’m art now.” 

There is one… 

The snow is stained red… 

The crimson flower grows. Pulses. It is well fed.
