Imagine this as Rumi Akito x Jinu Toya
(CAN YOU TELL IM HYPERVENTILATING RN)
The first time I met Akito, he was focused on throwing handfuls of baby powder onto the ground, several stories below. Singing to an old tune.
I didn't realize the tune was For All We Know, We Might Be Dead By Tomorrow until much later.
He was just... there. Higher above anyone on the roof of the school building. As students streamed down the stairs and onto the courtyard below.
It was four thirty in the afternoon, and he was throwing fistfuls of baby powder, singing.
[ID: A digital drawing of Akito and Toya from Project Sekai. Toya leans in towards Akito and puts a finger on his face, saying, “You have something on your face.” Akito looks away from him, leaning back a little bit, and holding an arm behind his head. He looks very surprised and flustered. Next to him is a thought bubble with a white cat blushing and an explosion behind it. The background is blue with little sticker like drawings of chibi versions of them, and a sun and moon. End ID.]
matching piece with an anhane drawing i did ages ago which i’m planning on redrawing. cringe fail losers <3
I'm a person with many worlds on my shoulders.
At times, I'm in this random air-conditioned room, being the President of the Student Council, disciplined and a role model. Sometimes, I'm elsewhere, perhaps my homeroom, as a name, leading the chart of exam scores on the blackboard at the back of the room. A couple of other times, I might be the founder of one of my school's charity projects, responsible and strategic. I'm also here, there, and there, too. Everywhere, I have this halo behind me, some blinding light following my every step. People look at me in awe. Even Rune, who was intelligent enough, pretty enough, and bright enough to be my boyfriend. Rune says he likes me because he sees my halo.
Of course.
Everybody likes me because they see my halo.
I found that... quite wrong.
