I'm a beginner and I don't want wear foundation. So how would I do that?

i would wear bb cream or a tinted moisturizer!if you dont like applying a product all over your face in general, you could use a concealer for discoloration/blemishes and then use a sheer face powder like mac mineralize skinfinish natural to set it all in and subtly even out your skintone

Can you do contour and highlight without foundation?

yes you could! if you're doing the whole kim kardashian intense contour/highlight with the concealers then it actually might be better that you don't use a foundation because it might look really cakey especially in natural sunlight.
