in Glint we see when Rip starts pushing her "why do you hating yourself hiding yourself" so the ribbons start came out of their shells just as she does,
in Gleam she start to get her independence but the important part for her is go through this rebirth and I think that couldn't have happened until that piece of her was stripped away”

Imagine with me you want to be a pilot and you you would love to fly except your family don’t allow it but when they finally do you start learn and finally start your job, first flight you lose control you panicked you don’t know what to do you crash and people die innocent people, that’s exactly what Auren felt like when her power lashed, I don’t really understand why people saying she took so long to control her power MY BABY WENT THROUGH A LOT, and also she lost a limb HER ribbons
