Taking a moment to write things down along the way can make for a much smoother session. In this picture I was keeping track of the signal flow as we were setting up to record drums. It ended up paying off when I needed to switch some things around and didn’t need to trace patch cables to figure out where things were plugged in. I just look at the sheet and move things around with confidence. With that being said last night we created the third Production from scratch this weekend.
