Are SM Trainees require to learn English or take any foreign language classes? Besides foreign trainees Learning Korean.

Yeah like Suho said in beatles code they also learn Chinese, Japanese, English etc

but you're doing a good job of telling people the right things, admin. i'm proud of you~ and proud to be following you~ because you're one of the few exo-focused tumblrs that keep it real and grounded.

oh thank gosh anon you make a lot a lot of sense and yes it's true in boa's only one video there were non asian back up dancers and a lot of their choreographers and other people aren't solely asian but I guess it does make sense why exo made it into sm like i find the whole group to be so talented it's just like how does one whole group contain so much talent ? But yes you make a lot of sense and please stop asking be about nationality and race since I'm not SM + SM is a korean company so it does make sense for them to want to scout Koreans ((and Chinese since they want to promote in the China markets as well)).

so sm trainees have stalkers even before debut? o.o

Not really stalkers but fans ? Because a lot of the fans camped outside of SM for the idols and because they see trainees, there's good looking ones and stuff so they just talk to them or sometimes interact since they always see each other and they start 'stanning' them like Chanyeol had a few fans and was known as 'Park Oppa' so yeah, he was pretty popular as a trainee like just look at him and all those fans

hi :) if idols/celebs were to do surgery, is it usually their own will or the company asks for it? thank you ^^

Majority of the time the company 'suggests' it to the trainees but there are also certain situations where the trainee/idol themselves want to receive plastic surgery.

Would SM accept someone half chinese and half hmong? If you don't know what hmong is you can look it up.

Can u explain how's sm trainee's life? Is it true chinese trainee always get bullied?

Basically it’s like a /normal/ school boy/girl’s life except they train every night or every weekend, depend on how close or far they are from the company ~ You train basically ‘whenever you want’ so like it depends on yourself of when you want to go practice rooms etc and there’s like ‘classes’ so there’s the best dancing class with all the best dancers who train together and stuff like that like the better you dance or sing, you move up classes and yeah ! For non Koreans, they have korean lessons and sometimes trainees need to learn basic Chinese, Japanese or even English in case they debut and they need to communicate with fans etc.

Um I’ve seen a few people say that Chinese trainees get bullied but not always ? Like it depends like Tao was bullied because he was Chinese and his Korean was really broken and + a lot of trainees didn’t like him because he was able to debut without excelling in singing or dancing ((compared to Chen or Lay)) and he didn’t have to train a lot compared to the other trainees ? Like he was /bullied/ out of jealousy ;u;

So it’s not the chinese trainees that /always/ get bullied but it depends on the trainee and person themselves and not every trainee gets bullied, it’s kind of like a high school I guess ? ;;

who is kyu wan?? Plus how come you feel bad for him?? I am sorry I am just curious!!

He was supposed to be the leader of M1 ((EXO K)) but that role was given to Suho in the end (obviously) basically he was an SM trainee who had opportunities that were said to him but never given to him you know ? He didn’t get picked for the final member of SS501, he was /apparently/ supposed to be in Super Junior but didnt get picked in the end, now, he was supposed to debut in 2010 with SNJC ((EXO)) but didn’t because they reevaluated and took him out. I just feel all of his hard work has gone to waste and he’s around 23/24 now and he would be considered “old” if he was to debut in a group 2-3 years later considering EXO just debuted. I just feel really bad for him, he’s not a bad singer like he has talent but it’s just sad how he never got to debut in groups he was /told/ ((apparently)) that he was supposed to debut in. And now he’s just finished his army service so i wonder if he’ll ever get a /repayment/ for the hard work he has endured ;;
