My little contribution for Pokemon’s 20th anniversary, a drawing of my trainer Azure with the 3 colour limitation of the old colour palettes!

Like many trainers, I started my journey with RBY many years ago, and have continued playing and following the series. So many years later, I have started playing Pokemon Blue again while rewatching the first season of Pokemon. I can remember watching the first season with my neighbours, getting excited whenever a new Pokemon appeared on screen. I remember how my father got me game emulators for the computer, since I didn’t have a Gameboy when the games first came out. Even after all these years, I find myself greatly enjoying playing the games that started it all, reliving old memories, and creating new ones. I am glad that the series has progressed so much, that we are able to share our memories together, and experience the old and new, and love Pokemon together.

So let’s game on, and catch ‘em all!

I felt like doing a bunch of pictures featuring Azure and her Pokemon, so here is the start of it. I keep telling myself to do fullsized art again, but here I am, drawing my chibis. At least they’re cute. uwu

In case anyone is curious about how clean my freehand lines are, these are some sketches from my sketchbook. As you can tell, my freehand lines aren’t nearly as clean as the work I post here.

Anyhow, I’ve been having fun drawing a series of pictures featuring Azure and various Pokemon of hers. I am planning to colour these, but for now, I thought I’d let people see what my sketchwork is like.
