My newest painting. I'm never happier than painting steam trains in vast urban or industrial landscapes. Viaducts are always a plus. The image is so potent to me as an artist, it would be foolish to avoid painting it. Rooted deep in my psyche are all the myriad of reasons why this image is important enough to repeat. Then there is the lady and the giant stand-up rose. Make what you will of that. There is very specific symbolism here, but I'd rather let your imagination run wild rather than explain what my intentions are. The painting is now for sale, oil on paper, 18"x24". It is currently unmounted.
