Part 1— Catherine Of Aragon
Edward Seymour was a king in his previous life. The only son of King Henry VII. He was celebrated and loved by so many. But he hated it and never knew why. Until he was reincarnated as a skinny, two year old blonde boy in the 21st century.
As he grew up, he began to realize that he was different and now he knew why. He figured it out on his twelfth birthday. Little baby Edward was actually little baby Edwina. As her mom says in the show. But she doesn’t like that name.
She never minded the name Eddie. Thats what Elizabeth used to call her when they were little. She always loved it but as she got older, everyone kept calling her Edward. She wants to go by Eddie again.
So a month after her twelfth birthday she started growing out her hair a little and told her family to call her Eddie. It’s not that big of a switch so no one really thought it was suspicious, which is good. She’s scared to let them know that she’s transgender. What if they get mad?
She doesn’t think they have a problem with transgender people. I mean, her mum is married to Aragon, Kitty and Anna are married, Cathy and Anne are married, Mary is bi, and Elizabeth is gay. The only other straight person in the family is Mae. Well, they’re not really sure about Mae, but she hasn’t said otherwise. But now that Eddie identifies as a girl, that makes her a lesbian like Elizabeth. So, yeah, as of now Mae is the only straight one.
So obviously, this crazy family has no issue with the LGBTQ community, almost all of them are a part of it. So what’s the issue with them knowing Eddie is trans? Simple, Eddie is supposedly be the man of the house. The son her father desperately wanted. The reason her father loved her mother. Will they still love her if she is a daughter and not a son?
These thought were keeping Eddie up all night. She just couldn’t fall asleep. So she got up and tiptoed out of her room, trying not to wake up Mae.
Eddie knew that the only one crazy enough to be up at this hour would be Cathy and she was probably writing in her and Anne’s room, so Eddie wandered into the kitchen, finally relaxed. She loved being alone. That’s when she could he a girl.
As she filled up a cup of water, she heard mumbling in the living room. It startled her, no one is supposed to be up. She’d been caught, but she wasn’t even doing anything wrong.
Slowly, the twelve year old girl crept into the living room and found her step mother reading her Bible on the couch. Her breath caught in her throat. Sure Aragon is bi but she’s also the most catholic woman in the world.
Eddie was suddenly hit with a huge wave of guilt. How could she think she was a girl? She’s ruining everything. She let out a choked sob and Aragon’s head snapped up to look at her.
“Eddie...” she said softly, notincing the child was in distress. Eddie didn’t say anything, she just ran to her step mom and crumpled at her feet.
“Forgive me father for I have sinned.” Eddie cried, gripping Aragon’s legs.
Aragon was very confused. She had no reason to think that the child in front of her had committed a huge sin requiring this kind of reaction.
“Oh, sweet boy. What happened?” Aragon asked Eddie as she cried. Eddie just shook her head.
“No.” She said, shaking her head. She couldn’t hear that word. She hated that word.
“No?” Aragon asked, trying her best to understand the child.
“No...not boy...” Eddie choked out which caused her to sob even harder.
Aragon quickly put her Bible down. She reached down and pulled Eddie into her lap, understanding what the girl meant.
Eddie just continued I cry, letting out all of her pent up emotions. “I’m ruining everything. I’m supposed to be the son. I’m the son father wanted. Mum won’t love me anymore. I shouldn’t think these things, I’m too young. Who can love me anymore?” She cried.
Aragon pulled Eddie closed to her chest and rocked her back and forth. “Shh...sweet girl.” She soothed Eddie, adding emphasis on the word girl.
Eddie noticed the emphasis and looked up at Aragon with tears in her eyes. “Girl?” She asked hopefully.
Aragon smiled down at the girl. “Yes, that is what you identify as, correct?” Aragon asked. All Eddie could do was nod. She had been accepted. “Sweetheart, why didn’t you tell us?”
“I’m scared.” She said softly.
“Honey, we will all accept you no matter what. Who cares if you aren’t the son anymore. You know your mother, she’d love you if you were a murderer. And the rest of us, we love you so much. And you are not too young to know. It’s who you are.” Aragon told Eddie.
Her words comforted Eddie. It was going to take a while for Eddie to work up to courage to tell the others, but now she had someone on her side. Someone knew her secret. Someone loved her as a daughter, not a son.
A/n: Who should she tell next??
