i started binding again recently, and it makes me so happy to be able to go out in public without worrying about people noticing my chest!! my hair is still longer than id like but i feel more comfortable in it when im taking other steps to live as myself :)

it took me months, nearly a year, to fully grasp that i was trans. i knew that i wasn’t cis, i knew that i fell out of the gender binary, and yet whenever i saw the trans flag it didn’t feel mine. it felt like i didn’t have the right to use it. i didn’t have dysphoria, i never transitioned, and i didn’t change my pronouns or name. and yet, i was trans. i couldn’t wrap my head around it. only in the past few weeks have i actually been able to see the label transgender as my own.

so yeah. i’m trans.
