What's transautonomous?
Thank you for asking! I've been meaning to explain this for a while now. When I first made those flags, I wasn't as well-versed in queer identities as I am now. The "autonomous" part came from the original definition of maverique: "...a gender characterized by autonomy and inner conviction regarding a sense of self that is entirely independent of male/masculinity, female/femininity or anything which derives from the two, while still being neither without gender nor of a neutral gender."
I was trying to describe that outside, independent part of the gender. Turns out there was already a word for that, transoutherine! That's basically what transautonomous meant, I just didn't know it existed lol. So now I consider that old flag to be a transoutherine design, but I much prefer this one:
