•Do not wear shoes in the house!!! I have never met a single Canadian who allows that!

•Please do not talk with a stereotypical Canadian accent. I personally only use “eh” when im confused/couldnt hear someone (“Eh?”)

•Pick a hockey team and stick with it for LIFE, even if you don’t know anything about hockey (like me)

•If you want you can go to a hockey/skating rink every once in a while. My friends mom used to bring me to figure skating competitions!

TransCanadian/TrisCanadian tips and validation!

✧ Get yourself used to the cold!! Turning on air conditioning during spring/fall, going on walks at night, opening windows on windy days, or anything else you can think of. Be safe!! Don't overdo it, give yourself warmth and don't risk hypothermia!

✧ Eat Canadian food/meals/snacks! Poutine, Butter Tarts, Beavertails, Ketchup chips, Peameal bacon, Bannock, Nanaimo bars, anything dill pickle flavoured, ect ect!

✧ Celebrate Canada day, Victoria day, Orange shirt day/Truth and Reconciliation day, and celebrate Thanksgiving in October! If you're Trans/TrisQuébécois you can celebrate Saint-Jean-Baptiste day and if you're Trans/TrisNewfoundlander you can celebrate June Day

✧ Watch Canadian channels and use Canadian streaming services! CBC, CTV, Citytv, Treehouse, YTV, Crave, STACKTV, ect!
