TFA REWRITE/AU?
basically, you know how Optimus is a scrap bot and drop out? Hear me out.
He is still Orion Pax at the start of the season, as he’s not a Prime yet. Prime’s, in this au/rewrite, mean you are one with the Original 13’s, but no one has gotten such a rank in a long time. During the time on Earth, the Matrix of Leadership disappears, and most of the 13 have been mysteriously killed.
The council is forced to choose a Prime to lead, and chooses Sentinel. While the new Prime is on a mission to find the Matrix of Leadership, Orion has been fighting off Decepticons on Earth with his team, including fighting an old friend, Megatronus/D-16, now Megatron.. Eventually, Orion discovers that Sentinel had killed most of the Prime’s, and has Alpha Trion hidden away to try and force the old mech into giving away where the Matrix is, but he doesn’t know. After freeing Alpha Trion, he and Sentinel have a fight, ending with Sentinel “killing”/fatally injuring him, but he is healed by the Matrix, as Primus deemed him worthy, making him become Optimus Prime.
