2023 gave us starscream equilibrium. we got earthspark starscream who got his happy ending and gets to play wine aunt and chill.

skybound gave us a fully unhinged maniac starscream without megatron stealing his thunder, committing atrocities in every new edition.

2025年的第一刊#16就是大力神vs混天豹了，整整39年！！

虽然他俩不是宿敌，但依然很激动啊！毕竟过了这么多年，很想看看官方会怎么重写这段故事w

左上角的大力神笑得很像动画合体时的第一帧（没截）。今天出的#15最后一页左下角还有个小小的铲队www

好期待啊（这难道是因为心头好还没出场，心头好的宿敌也没出场的吃瓜群众心态，不然我现在一定在YY他俩互相把对方锤进地里的场面哈哈哈）

顺便重温了一下这一集（左下角吵闹和诈骗简约风）

啊一家人何苦难为一家人。难道是因为汽车人组金不够多？所以先内部消化了？（都这么g1了，给守护神留一点吧！）

Transformers Skybound

I've finally been given my comic packages! You guys know what I'm going to be doing for the next hour or so. The front cover colours are so pretty.

listen i know why everyones going insane abt soundwave kneeling and tenderly holding megatrons hand for good reason but man. man these panels. his presence. even in his sorry state he commands shock and awe. its been so long since we've had a megatron who can manipulate his troops. the way the fighting utterly ceases, the way he doesn't fly into a rage or immediately dispatch starscream; no, he takes time to heal ravage and praise soundwave. he's calm. for the decepticons the sun rises, the fires dissipate, a golden future is ahead of them. but the autobots are pinned. the walls and shadows closing in on them. megatron has barely been in this comic but his reputation proceeds him and he feels so utterly indomitable. man this comic ROCKS.

just started reading Transformers EU.

all the same complaints you’d expect to hear. killing off bumblebee and replacing him with i guess cliffjumper is a choice that was made.

don’t get me wrong, it’s nice that cliffjumper doesn’t die for once, but i don’t believe you need to kill off a character to take him out of a spotlight, and if your reasoning for killing him off is that and not even considering revival or real mentions of his existence only tells me you are incapable of making a character more interesting and relatable without characterizing someone to be basically gruffer bumblebee. cliffjumper acts in my opinion extremely different now. and maybe before his character wasn’t so explored but he was pretty active in the G1 issues DWJ claims to want to honor.

it’s not that hard to write in that bumblebee is busy with other things, don’t they do that for all other barely brushed off characters like prowl?

“but then ppl would ask about bumblebee” just have a one or two page cameo if he is doing something important… like they do for other barely occurring characters.

the rest, the character design looks like g1 very nice nod, the art is beautiful, the story elements are pretty solid. it’s not a bad generation. it just won’t be one of the greater ones if book 2 follows book 1
