Dear queers, stop people pleasing and start proudly people displeasing this pride month 🙂↕️
just feeling like we need a reminder that as trans men, we do have a form of privilege over trans women. obviously we are still oppressed, but we *do* have the privilege of being men and, where applicable, we should be trying to use that privilege to uplift and support transfems rather than put them down.
Where. Please do tell anon, where is my male privilege because I'm not getting any of it. Transmascs do not experience male privilege because we are not seen as men by society unless we pass and even then that "privilege" completely hinges on being stealth. You're no better than someone telling a bisexual person they have "straight privilege" because they can be in a relationship with the opposite gender.
Happy disability pride month
It's not July yet, there are 6 more hours before I start transferring all of my pain and various disability symptoms onto every ableist person i see with my cool and awesome mind beams
Not trans related but
I hate seeing people infantalize my older sister because she's disabled. Like yes she is adorable she is the cutest girl in the world but you don't fucking know that all you know is that she's a girl who has down syndrome and then your going based off of your dumbass stereotypes. She is not a kid she is 19 years old.
Do not fucking "aww" at my sister being polite you wouldn't "aww" at anyone else being polite why are you doing it for her?
Like idk maybe I'm being a protective younger brother but I'm really sick of seeing people find out that my sister is disabled and assuming she's a adorable little baby.
People need to learn how to be normal about disabled people
the this-is blogs abt transandrophobia dont have their askblogs open here rn so im here but this is transandrophobia right?
This is transandrophobia AND weird as hell
I’ve seen a distinct lack in conversation during the TME/TMA stuff about queer T4T relationships that are transfemme/transmasc (in anyway not just trans women and trans men).
The few things I have seen however although not specifically calling it out give off they think “traitor” vibes about transfemmes who are with transmasc individuals, and that transmascs are “stealing their women”
Curious about your opinions on the topic, or if you have seen much from anyone about this.
I feel like it’s an important thing to talk about when it comes to this stuff that is seemly ignored or unthought about.
Oh I've absolutely seen posts of people talking about how transfems "need to break up with their TME/transmasc partner" and how they'll never be happy and how the TME partner will only hurt them and I've like, genuinely cried over seeing too many posts like that. On more than one occasion I've asked 🍇 if she'd be happier with another transfem and if I'm just holding her back. But she's explained to me that my gender and sex have nothing to do with making her happy.
I think it's stupid, anyone can be shitty. We should stop saying "this group of people is always abusive" and start sharing warning signs of abuse so people can look out for them regardless of their partner's identity
"I-I'm a cis perisex person on HRT!!"
Cool! How does it feel to waste resources for people who'll commit suicide without it?
You're aware that there's not like, a shortage of Estrogen or Testosterone right? Like trans people DO struggle to access it but they're gonna struggle just as much with or without cis people choosing to also take HRT.
Please stop blaming everyone but the people who are actually making it hard for trans people to access HRT (aka, the government) you're not helping anyone you just sound like an asshole who wants to control what other people do with their bodies, which is none of your business and also the exact same thing the government is trying to do
