CERC Resets Southern Grid Tariffs After Capital Cost Corrections
🔹India’s power regulator has recalibrated tariffs for a key Southern Region grid strengthening package, reinforcing strict norms on capital cost recovery.
🔹By trimming excess spares, scrutinising deferred liabilities and adjusting liquidated damages against project cost, CERC has ensured that inefficiencies do not flow into consumer tariffs.
