alright so, after about three months i’m bringing my grumpy wolf back. he’s still basically the same ( with a few tweaks here and there ) for those of you who already know him, but either way, here’s a bit about enzo:

enzo was born a werewolf. both of his parents were werewolves so it’s something that has always been a part of his life.
his mother, however, passed away a couple days after giving birth to him due to some complications, which led him to being raised by his father.
his father was an aggressive man, and the loss of his wife only made that worse. he was the alpha of a pack ( i haven’t decided where ), but he had no intentions of leading the pack to create a family-like enviromnent or anything of the sort. what he really wanted was an army, and the wolves that joined the pack were ones that were okay with that ─ that wanted that, even. basically, they tiptoed around the law, doing just enough to keep shadowhunters/the clave off their backs. but it wasn’t exactly a secret that they weren’t nice.
ever since enzo was born (actually, ever since his mother found out she was pregnant), his father wanted to raise him and prepare him to take over the pack one day. enzo was not interested in being a leader at all tho ─ not to the pack his father had created.
their relationship was very strained and not healthy. one day they had a pretty nasty fight and his father basically gave him an ultimatum. enzo decided he’d had enough and packed up his things and left ( he was 17, a few weeks away from 18, when that happened ).

along the way, he stumbled upon a young, scared wolf, also known as annabelle ( @annabcllc ). he instantly felt protective over the girl, wanting to help her adjust to the werewolf life, to look out for her and make sure she would be okay. he took her in as his ward. anna means the world to enzo, and to this day he is incredibly protective of her.
his name is actually lorenzo, but ever since he left his father’s pack and went away on his own, he only goes by enzo. very few people know that his full name is lorenzo, and it’s not something he plans on changing. lorenzo is the name his father gave him. don’t call him lorenzo or you will get kicked where the sun doesn’t shine.
ever since then, he’s pretty much been all over, never staying in one place for too long. he’s very skilled at fighting and is also great with guns; picked up a few jobs here and there for money. ranged from theft to being a gun for hire.
arrived in wilshire over a year ago but didn’t sign up for the bonds.
became the owner of the hunter’s moon on january 2018 after purchasing the location from its previous owner.
then, on september, enzo became the alpha of the local pack. he didn’t get along with the former alpha to begin with, which wasn’t a secret. although enzo wasn’t part of the pack, he is the owner of the hunter’s moon, so he was around the pack a lot and that included their alpha. but the last straw came when enzo noticed that on the upcoming war, the man was making selfish choices and not thinking of the pack’s best interests. he wasn’t happy when enzo called him out on it one night. things got heated and enzo ended up taking his life and becoming the new alpha.
when he first arrived in wilshire, he didn’t even join the pack, so needless to say, he’s still learning how to navigate through that huge ass change in his life. most importantly, he wants to make sure he doesn’t become his father
has a bit of a hard shell to crack ( emphasis on hard,,, ) but he is actually extremely protective of the people he loves and cares about, which includes the wolves on the pack of course. he has a bit of a soft spot for wolves in general, but will deny this.
personality wise, he can be very sarcastic and almost detached in a way. it’s something he picked up throughout the years as a way of protecting himself??
is also very perceptive and able to pick up on things easily ( unless his feelings are involved, in which case he becomes a bit of a mess ).
he’s confident ( which goes for his abilities as a werewolf but also generally speaking, if that makes sense?? like, there’s still self-loathing there, especially because he blames himself for his mother’s death, something that was also often instilled/implied by his father, but the way he carries himself demonstrates confidence ).
he’s also unforgiving in the sense that once you betray his trust, it’s hard to gain it back.
has only been in love once and…….. enzo vc: 0/10 would recommend falling in love ( don’t listen to him he’s just bitter and lowkey heartbroken ).
