keralis is that kind of guy who always tells xb he loves him, he’s gorgeous, he’s so lucky to have him etc etc
and xb is that kind of guy who giggles and says yeah I know :)
that little insecurity causes keralis to say these words more and more. just like he said, ‘it's hard to tell cuz xb’s always laughing’.
keralis said ‘now kiss’ in a rush when he watched the sun set over their shared lands, in an unreal rare feeling of, unease, and laughed it off. xb said goodbye first that day and keralis couldn’t shake the feeling away. he buried himself in working on that landscape, smiling when imagining how xb would react when he saw the pretty gazebo.
the grand reveal day is here and they have the time to sit on the swing watching sunset like how he envision it.
‘the view, oh! so good! so what do you sink? you like?’
‘I love it! you made it better than anything I could have wished for.’
‘aww spank you! love your face!’
‘love you too.’
and keralis just automatically turns so quickly andlooked at xb’s smiling face, asks, ‘what? say it again I missed it!’
‘no, you definitely heard it.’
‘no no I really didn’t!’ keralis’s heart starts beating at a quicker pace, then,
‘I said I love you too.’ xb leans towards him to seal their lips together. all the sunset lights warm the left side of keralis’ face, making him lightheaded and breathless. no keralis you need to breathe.
xb giggles and pulls away, ‘I said I love you too.’
Keralis leaps up a bit and almost kneads on the swing with a screeching chain noise. he reaches both hands out to grab xb’s waist and kisses him back properly.
xb laughs and stops him from taking a second one, ‘I don’t really want to make out on a swing in front of whole spawn keralis, hold yourself!’
‘well I guess you have a mansion with my bed in it.’
that’s when keralis finds out he could just ask xb to say it back. why he didn't think of that?
but quickly after a few times xb refuse to cooperate and keralis has to find new ways. that's another story.
the wise docm of the 77 variety said, ‘You fool, xb is 50% more chill and soft around you what do you ask for more? he loves you obviously! ugh I really can't with these idiots…don’t make my gentleman club into a couple therapy clinic! I will charge you for that.’
