admittedly, delta wasn’t the most observant of people; having been conditioned to focus on one thing -one person- only. but that person was no longer at his side, and he wondered if he was more likely to notice something that reminded him of her, such as ( what he assumed was ) a doll that someone left behind with a set of keys. with a quiet, curious rumble he bent down to pick up the toy carefully. it fit entirely in his palm- small even for most dolls, he thought.

it wasn’t until he brought his hand up to his faceplate that he realized the ‘object’ wasn’t that at all - it was alive. a...miniature person. this time, a sound of surprise; he’d known this place was odd from his last visit, but this was entirely new. delta gave an apologetic groan, feeling more than a bit foolish for not realizing he had just picked up someone without so much as a warning. and the more he studied the tiny person, the more they looked like a child - which made that feeling of guilt intensify.

using his index finger, delta gently patted their head in apology before moving to sit down on the grass and placing them next to him on it - so they could leave if they wished. though he hoped they wouldn’t. they looked so...fragile. he didn’t want them to get hurt if someone less careless than himself happened across them.

It’s a regular trick. Everyone knows it. A fake game of chance, one of the easiest cons to pull. Maybe it’s balls and cups. Maybe it’s cards. Functionally it’s all the same. They don’t know anyone, so they can’t have a partner to help rope in some dopes, but they can at least give some freebie wins to keep anyone interested.

He sits back in his folding chair, reading a newspaper he picked up to pass the time. He’ll catch sight of anyone interested, he thinks, reading up on whatever stuff this city has gotten into. Something about interdimensional wars? There’s a big man who ruins everything? So, just like home. Cool.

There’s been a clacking noise for a while now. Like plastic knocking together? Is someone coming up the alley behind him? There some unloading at either of the stores next to him? No, doesn’t seem like it, so that must mean...

He folds the paper in half, to look at the table, and the... very little person trying to get his attention. “Uh. Hey. Can I, uh, help you, little guy?” So they got lil folks around here, too. Just like home. Cool.

You will be able to use your ‘History Sight’ on any object or person up to five times per day. During this time, you may only see events that have happened one day prior. You will also keep your passive ‘durability’ ability so that you don’t perish from trying to climb the stairs and the like!

You will also be given your set of keys on their key-ring. You’ll also be given a set of baby keys with those, too.
