The poll you just shared presents an excellent question!
I think the scenario I've been picturing is something like the movie "Donnie Darko", with a twist: "City Walls" is a vision or dream Clancy has, of what his life will look like in the future if he chooses to fight alone. Then he wakes up (literally or figuratively), and decides that that isn't the path he wants to go down, choosing to fight alongside The Torchbearer and the Banditos instead, to take down Nico and the whole city of Dema together!
At least, I think that would be pretty cool ...
thats an interesting thought :) i think ive seen it a few times before. to me the thing that disproves this is the scene of torchbearer and the bandito at the end of city walls, because thats completely isolated of any input of clancy. cool take though !!!
