i'm enjoying the different layers we're seeing of ormewood this season. he's the macho ex-army hardass cop with drinking, anger and marriage problems- but he's also obsessed with reality tv shows, is drawn to hypercompetent women like a moth to a flame, rehearses his son's plays with him (and was proud he wanted to act rather than judgmental like max expected), he regularly takes faith to jimmy's bean hut for taco tuesday's, he looked up youtube tutorials to learn how to french braid his daughter's hair, bonded with drag queens and a nonbinary teenager, got hit on by a gym bro and wasn't weird about it (just oblivious and confused about macros lmao) and roleplayed an imagined relationship between amanda and pete with his frenemy will trent. he is everything to me.
